The Restaurant

Plantation first opened its doors in December 2003. It was the perfect opportunity to provide Bristol with a menu that many had never seen nor eaten before. Over the years, the restaurant has received much acclaim from critics and customers alike - it being Bristol's only major Caribbean restaurant! It has played host to a number of celebratory events, parties and weddings. We regularly feature live samba bands like Ilu Axe (pictured above), international performers such as Felipe de Algeciras (Flamenco) and Mariana Rabello Pinho (samba reggae) as well as Bristol legends like Laid Blak, Celestine (pictured above) and DJ Derek.
We have supported many fundraising nights for charities such as Sightsavers International, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Oxfam, Rogpa Charitable Trust, Survival International, PeruAP and Send A Cow, a charity that enables poor farmers in Africa to become self-reliant by providing them with livestock, training and advice.
As well as providing a vibrant and exceptional service to the community, one of Plantation's main goals is customer satisfaction. From its relaxing interior of radiant colours and vibrant murals, to its exotic menu, all of which are so carefully designed and constructed to maximise your dining pleasure. We welcome children and teenagers with reckless abandon and can cater to their sensitive taste buds. If you want them to stay out late, that's no problem for us; that is the Caribbean way!
