About Plantation Caribbean Bar and Restaurant

Plantation first opened its doors in December 2003. It was the perfect opportunity to provide Bristol with a food that many had never seen nor eaten before. The restaurant attracts a wide range of customers - from families who are eager to discover what Caribbean cuisine tastes like, or looking to re-live experiences that they have previously had in the tropics, to Caribbean customers themselves searching for that authentic "home-cooked" taste.

Over the years, the restaurant has received much acclaim from critics and customers alike - it being Bristol's only major Caribbean restaurant! It has played host to a number of celebratory events, whose guests have included a handful of local celebrities, a live five-piece samba band and some Brazilian carnival dancers! It is often associated with many different local and national charities, including "Send A Cow", a charity that enables poor farmers in Africa to become self-reliant by providing them with livestock, training and advice. The charity also works with some of the most vulnerable groups in Africa, including children orphaned by war, families affected by AIDS, and disabled people.

As well as providing a vibrant and exceptional service to the community, one of Plantation's main goals is customer satisfaction. From its relaxing interior of radiant colours and mellow reggae music, to its exotic menus - all of which are so carefully designed and constructed to maximise your pleasure.
