They write an entrancing mix of songs about camels, treehouses, coming together as one, and fish. With a heavy rhythm section, wild brass, ecstatic keys, sweet guitar melodies.

Merging Grooves Reminiscent of those you might expect to hear on a Marcus Miller  or Soulive record with ambient melodies that explore a range of musical styles, The Rich O’Brien Project’s modern blend of Jazz, Funk, Soul and RnB music is one that appeals to astute Listeners and Dance Floor goer’s alike. With the rich Exploration of “Grooves for moves” and soulful melodies characteristic of “Smoke Filled” jazz clubs seen in their debut E.P Frisky, the debut album Hot potato, which is planned for release in July 2012, is one not to be missed.

Driven by classic jit-jive guitar and rolling chimurenga bass matched with the powerful drum patterns of modern Zimbabwe, the classic sound of Bulawayo has arrived.
